Overview
A seller can link their TikTok Shop to a TikTok creator account, forming a creator bind. A creator bind offers certain benefits to both parties. For sellers, this includes the ability to sell products through bound creator accounts in video, livestreams, and Store Pages or showcase. For creators, bound accounts can go live without a minimum follower requirement.
Types of Creator Binds
Official Creator Binds
An official creator bind is reserved for the official TikTok creator account of the TikTok Shop account. These creator accounts must have the same name as the shop account. Products are displayed through Store Page and can be sold by video, livestreams, and Store Page. Products in Seller Center can also be synced to Store Page automatically. Official creators do not have access to the Affiliate Product Marketplace.
Marketing Creator Binds
A marketing creator bind is a way to link additional creator accounts to your TikTok Shop. Products are displayed through the Store Page, and can be sold through video, live, or showcase. The name of the creator account does not need to match the TikTok Shop name.

Creator Bind Limits
Creator bind limits vary based on the type of shop sellers have and whether the shop has graduated new seller probation. New sellers can add more creator binds once graduated from probation.
For individual shops, the limits are:
- 1 official creator bind and no marketing creator binds during probation
- 1 official creator bind and 4 marketing creator binds after probation graduation
For business accounts, the limits are:
- 1 official creator bind and 1 marketing creator bind during probation
- 1 official creator bind and 4 marketing creator binds after probation graduation

Product Selection Risk Reminder
When binding a product to their content, creators receive a reminder about the most common content violations associated with that particular product. This feature helps creators ensure their promotional content complies with the TikTok Shop Content Policy.
